The Quad – a community gathering space for all
The Quad is a central public greenspace in the heart of Lismore CBD. Nestled between the Lismore Regional Gallery, Lismore Library and the Northern Rivers Conservatorium, the Quad is a public meeting place, a performance venue, a children’s play space, a creative hub and a space for community expression.

The Quad provides a safe space and gathering point for the community to enjoy free activities and performances, hold community events, take part in creative workshops and installations, or simply relax on the grass.

It is a well-loved destination for locals, visitors and tourists. 

An Update from The Quad: 

The Quad is currently undergoing changes in preparation for restoration works. These changes will include improvements to drainage, landscaping, and public amenities, with the goal of creating a welcoming green space in the heart of the CBD. 

During this time, the Quad will still be hosting a small series of offsite programs for Youth Week in April and will continue preparations to return to regular programming once the restoration works are complete. 

To ensure your safety and convenience, temporary site fencing has been installed around the Quad, and designated pedestrian walkways have been established. These walkways are two metres wide and are highlighted in green on the accompanying map.
