Move It comes to The Quad, Lismore.

Its Fun & good excercise for anyone of any age.

This weekly class is movement based improving your physicality, strength and flexibility and being creative in a safe space.

So bring a friend, family member or neighbour.

Have a laugh and get fit together.

Tess is a dancer, educator, performer, using movement and other creative art forms for community building, healing, and transformative programs for youth empowerment & social justice. Eckert is a descendent of U.S. First Nation’s, German and Swedish ancestors. Having migrated to the Northern Rivers 6 years ago from the Rocky Mountains of North America, central to Eckert’s collaborations is an investigation of how to create a sense of belonging and connection to our inner and outer worlds, with the aim of opening up possibilities for healthier ways of being, relating and moving. Eckert’s artistic practice is strongly informed by many years training in contemporary dance, street dance, physical theatre, contact improvisation, 5 rhythms, BodyWeather and community building. She has performed at The CommonWealth Games GC, ArtState, and Festivals such as Falls, Mullum Music Fest and Bello Winter Fest. She has collaborated and performed with The Schiff Dance Collective, Sprung!! Integrated Dance Theatre, The Cassettes, The Flash Collective, Dance Integrated Australia  and The Farm Dance Co.
